Irma Ramirez is a self-taught artist with more than 15 years of artistic career. She has a tremendous passion for painting. Ramirez was born and raised on the outskirts of the Northern State of Nuevo Laredo, Mexico. She experienced art museums for the first time after moving to Chicago.

Her passion for the Arts led her to imitate and reproduce many masterpieces as a way of practice and to fulfill a dream... to be an artist. Today, her work has evolved and become her own. Her styles are diverse and ever-changing as she continues to experiment and try new techniques.
