 After
a recent trip to Santa Fe, Sharon was inspired to paint a series of
missions, shrines and Pueblos on metal panels riveted to maple frames.
This new work explodes with color and the play of light & shadow of
the region. Continuing with the use of metal, Sharon and
partner/artist Larry Pile, have constructed small houses painted with
whimsy and folk influences.
Sharon Penner has been a
